Very true. Still, someone left in a big hurry today. I wince every time I look at the drop in share price.
Someone should come along and scoop us up if Gopi is not too greedy.
Could QCOM do it? Absolutely. Can they justify it to their shareholders? I don't know. I think in order to break into double digits we would have to get up to around $7.50. AMCC has to be able to show that the new products can lift the top line. I think QCOM would pay if AMCC could show a reduction in risk. From QCOM's point of view, why purchase until there's been a market uptick in ARM-based server demand?
Days like today don't leave me with a warm fuzzy feeling. I'm sure that's true for the people over at QCOM too.

Someone did come in after hours to pick up enough shares to add .09 to the upside after market close.
Also,
By looking at the chart below, one can see the share price shows to be bouncing off the orange line shown. This is the 50 day moving average and this bounce(drop in price) I believe, always had a good chance of happening anyway.
presently, we are in the midst of three weeks of investor conferences, with the second conference being held tomorrow 3/9/16 Raymond James, in Orlando Florida at 12:10 PM ET.
Three Investor Conferences with talk of increased revenue on a quarterly basis should be bringing in new shareholders. Right?
phobos,
were you able to listen to the first investor conference, Morgan Stanley? I was looking forward to hearing your thoughts on that conference. especially your take on Gopi's comments. Thanks.
