I think it rather depends upon whether ARM's supremacy in mobile is a function of its superior business model of licensing technology to all, or if it was just an accident of ARM and QCOM's first-mover advantage. If it is the former, it might auger well for AMCC's future in the data center. ...of course, they (AMCC) must execute!
