I don't think we will see a surprise, but we may see a forecast for the following quarter that will signal the start of the ramp. And, if we are to believe ARM's projections of having a 20% share by 2018, then that ramp should prove to be very very steep. It's good to be here. I really wasn't gone, but there wasn't much happening either. Hopefully, that will all change soon toward the end of July! I'm getting the impression that the market is in agreement.

There have been quite a few firms stepping up to purchase shares over the last couple of weeks.
Hopefully we are not now hitting a high and then will have to spend another round down at the $5 range?
The more I think about the situation we are in, the more I believe AMCC needs to release positive news, and lots of it!
phobos:
We have been sitting here for quite a while with nothing positive happening. AMCC needs to be in a promotional stage to attract interested parties. Correct? or am I too early stating this?
I understand that $ earnings $ is the biggest promoter of all. but, what about the build up?

The question now is:
Will we push through the $7.00 share price this coming second week of June 2016?
I say YES!!
We still have close to two months before Q1 earnings call, so I believe that $7.00 we be the launching pad going into that very call. With an acceptable earnings call and (like phobos previously stated) with the RAMP of production set to begin the second half of 2016.
Bright and shining days look to be in the near future for AMCC shareholders!

I don't know. I just posted a couple of things elsewhere on the board. I don't think we will see an earnings surprise this quarter, but we might get guidance for next quarter, and if it shows even a slight bump, the market could interpret that as the long-awaited and much-rumored ramp.
$7.00 is not unreasonable, just look at CAVM's valuation: it's about double that of AMCC. We're still cheap given our relative position.
I began to have doubts as the trading volume has been very very low during this most recent run-up.
We still have close to seven long weeks until earnings are released. An opportune time to run the share price through the $7.00 level going into the call.
