If it was a single day of low-volume gain, I would conclude that it is not a significant change, but I think a gain over time, even at low volume, is significant. The short interest is a concern, but it also means that if the share price rises we could get a short squeeze, pushing the price even higher, than if the short interest was close to zero.
I think the Q1 earnings will come in right on target, or slightly above. What I am looking for is for the Q2 guidance to approach that $44M mark to meet or exceed analyst estimates, and signal the beginning of the ramp.
