I'm all for developing an ecosystem, but at what point do you stop worrying about the ecosystem and start worrying about the competition? Maybe Marty had to do the investor presentation because Gopi was on a job interview.
Seriously, I'm still here waiting for that ramp. And QCOM, like CAVM, would still have to buy or develop connectivity to be a player. Perhaps that's why AMD has returned to x86: they realized that without connectivity, they can't be a player in the data center.
